To Tonify means to strengthen. Tonification Qigong Flows nourish the organs, promote a smooth the flow of Qi through the meridians and fortify the Qi in the energetic reservoirs.


In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the dominant organs of Late Summer are the spleen and stomach. Tonifying the spleen and stomach (also called fortifying the spleen) can increase immunity, improve digestion, blood flow, and stamina as well as promote mental clarity and focus.

The energetic phase of this season is the Earth Phase. Earth holds the center of balance in the rhythm of Yin and Yang. Therefore, tonficiation for this period also focus on balancing Yin and Yang within and connecting to the forces of Heaven (Yang) and Earth (Yin) and Human (Qi).


This routine is a powerful alchemy of practices that are designed to tonify the spleen, the stomach and Four Golden Wheels (the Lower Dantian, Middle Dantian, Upper Dantian and Central Meridian). The routine begins by building Qi in the lower Dantian, meridian tracing, earth flows and finishes with the Three Forces Standing meditation.


The Three Forces is an essential practice that empowers your Dantian energy centers by connecting to the Three Forces of nature (Heaven, Earth and Human). The postures build a strong foundation for your energy body and transform worry into the virtues of trust and confidence. Over time this practice will train you to develop concentration and confidence, ultimately plugging you in to your highest potential.
