FULLMOON MEDITATION (25 MIN)
Meditation during the full moon is a powerful time for energy cultivation. Winter is the peak of yin. It is the darkest, coldest time of year. Since the moon is yin, and winter is the peak of yin energy, the winter moon is the great Yin energy. Connecting to the moon during winter is the most powerful time of the year to nourish the yin energy in your body and calm the spirit.
This full moon meditation for winter is an internal alchemy practice designed to nourish your yin through the three main energy centers in the body, called the Three Dantian. We will be using a yin technique of drawing in moon energy by placing the palms of the hands on key energy centers of the body. Then we will do a special breathing method called reverse breathing to nourish the kidneys and Original Qi with the moon essence. Finally we will integrate all the energy through the central meridian.
