Yin Yoga Happy Heart
This deeply nourishing Yin Yoga routine targets the Heart and Small Intestine meridians—the energetic pathways associated with the Fire Element.
Yin Yoga has its roots in Dao Yin Qigong, the ancient practice of guiding and directing Qi through the body. By gently stretching the fascial trains surrounding the meridians, we create space for Qi to flow more freely. Because fascia is a Yin tissue that responds gradually, hold each posture for approximately three to five minutes. Variations are offered throughout so you can adapt the practice to your body and experience level.
This routine supports the Fire Element on every level:
• Physical: Opens the chest, shoulders and arms while releasing tension along the Heart and Small Intestine meridian pathways.
• Emotional: Helps transform agitation, anxiety and emotional overwhelm into joy, warmth and inner calm.
• Energetic: Encourages the balanced circulation of Heart Qi, releasing stagnation and restoring openness and vitality.
• Spiritual: Calms and nourishes the Shen—the spirit of the Heart—cultivating presence, connection, compassion and radiant awareness.
Slow down, soften and create space around your heart. Through patient, sustained stretches, this practice invites your Qi to circulate freely—cultivating a happy Heart and the joyful, expansive energy of Fire.
