Qigong Breathing Flow
Qigong is one of the original breathwork practices. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the lungs are known as the Commanders of Qi — they draw in life force energy with each breath, supporting vitality, clarity, and emotional balance.
This practice combines two foundational elements of Qigong: breath and movement. You’ll learn how to breathe using the Daoist method of Dantian breathing, which directs the breath deep into the lower abdomen to regulate the nervous system and store energy in the body’s core.
To support this process, we’ll use the sound of a bell set to 6 breaths per minute — a scientifically supported rhythm that helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system. As you synchronize your breath with the bell and flow through gentle movements to open the lungs, you’ll naturally release tension, slow the mind, and return to a state of balance.
This practice supports:
• Lung health and Qi cultivation
• Stress and anxiety relief
• Deep relaxation and mental clarity
• Energetic grounding and self-healing
Whether you're new to Qigong or returning to your breath, this is a powerful way to reconnect with your energy and center yourself in the present moment.
