(40 min) Three Forces Standing Meditation
Standing Qigong forms have been a fundamental practice in Qigong for centuries. The words Sān Tǐ Shì literally mean “three body potential” or the Three Forces. The three forces are Heaven, Earth and Human. They are also called the Three Treasures.
This practice is a standing meditation that is made up of five static holding postures. The postures attune your energy to these primary forces of nature through the combination of physical alignment, willpower and relaxation. The Three Treasures Standing Meditation is a training of your willpower. It cultivates focus, perseverance, sensitivity and intention. This practice is great to do when you feel out of balance. It can help you to stop being pushed around, follow through with plans, stop procrastinating, initiate change and build resolve to overcome a difficult situation. Its also effective to help insomnia and boost the immune system. Over time this practice will train you to develop concentration and confidence, plugging you into your highest potential.
